Your Role: Trainer - Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair

Location: Leicester (centre-based)

Deliver high-quality, practical and theory-based training to both apprentices and commercial learners. With a focus on modern diagnostics and technology, you'll help shape capable, confident technicians ready for the demands of the industry.

Key responsibilities:

Deliver structured and safety-first training sessions

*

Create engaging materials and hands-on activities

*

Support learners through progress reviews and assessments

*

Communicate effectively with employers and learners

*

Keep up with industry innovations and curriculum changes

What You'll Bring:

✔ Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
✔ Strong hands-on experience with diagnostics and modern systems
✔ Teaching qualification (e.g. PTTLS) or willingness to work towards it
✔ Minimum Level 2 in English & Maths (or equivalent)
✔ Excellent communication and organisational skills
✔ Full UK driving licence

Bonus (not essential): TAQA or assessor qualifications, First Aid training, experience working with apprentices or young people.
