CNC Shift Manager - Night Shift

Location: Coventry
Hours: Sunday to Thursday, 22:00-07:00
Salary: Up to £42,000 per annum + overtime + performance-based incentives

Introduction

We're looking for a hands-on CNC Shift Manager to lead our night shift team in a modern timber manufacturing environment. You'll oversee CNC operations across multiple machines and ensure the whole shift runs smoothly, safely, and to plan.

Key Responsibilities

* Supervise CNC operators and ensure machines are running to target.

* Support and guide the team with day-to-day production tasks.

* Carry out quality checks and encourage a right-first-time approach.

* Monitor performance, reduce downtime, and keep work flowing.

* Promote safe working practices across the shift.

* Maintain a tidy, well-organised production area.

* Report key issues and performance updates to senior management.

Candidate Requirements

* Previous experience leading or supervising in a CNC/machine shop environment.

* Strong technical understanding of CNC operations.

* Confident decision-maker with good communication skills.

* Able to motivate a team and maintain standards on shift.

* Safety-conscious and quality-focused.
