Job Overview

You will be a key part of the payroll team and will be responsible for processing a high-volume in-house payroll from start to finish. You will also be involved in a big payroll automation project, helping automate processes and procedures.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

Running a payroll in house for over 1800 employees, working within a team
HR administration (starters, leavers, absence reporting etc)
Assisting with project to automate payroll processes

Essential Skills and Competencies:

Experience running payrolls from start to finish
Relevant telephone experience
High level of computer literacy (MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
High level of organisational ability; ability to work to tight deadlines and targets
Good communication and customer service skills

Desirable Skills and Competencies:

Proven experience working in a UK payroll function
Experience using multiple payroll systems
Solid understanding of UK payroll legislation
Experience with excel (VLOOKUP/Pivot Tables)INDPAY
