Location: Mobile role covering all London Zones

Salary: £45,000 per annum + paid travel + overtime + benefits

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00

Overtime: Regular overtime available and actively encouraged

We are recruiting for a Mobile Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical or mechanical bias to join a leading Facilities Management (FM) provider. You'll be responsible for delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs, and statutory compliance across a portfolio of high-profile commercial buildings in London.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified and experienced building services engineer who enjoys working independently across multiple sites, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of HVAC systems, electrical infrastructure, and mechanical plant.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out PPM tasks across commercial offices and retail sites

Respond to reactive maintenance and emergency call-outs

Perform fault diagnosis and repairs on electrical systems, mechanical plant, and HVAC equipment

Ensure full compliance with statutory testing, SFG20 standards, and health & safety regulations

Support minor installation works, fabric maintenance, and small projects

Maintain accurate records using CAFM systems and site documentation

Liaise with clients, helpdesk, and subcontractors to ensure smooth service delivery

Adhere to permit to work systems, risk assessments, and method statements

Candidate Requirements:

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

18th Edition (for electrical bias) or relevant mechanical qualifications (e.g., F-Gas, Plumbing, HVAC certs)

Experience in commercial facilities maintenance, building services engineering, or FM sector

Strong knowledge of compliance testing, fault finding, and reactive repairs

Full UK driving licence

Ability to manage workload across multiple locations and work independently
