About the Role: Reed are currently working alongside a fantastic primary school in Cambridge. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioural Support Assistant to join their team on a full time basis from september. This full-time role involves providing additional support to pupils in Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2) who require extra assistance throughout the school day. The successful candidate will run small group sessions and 1:1 sessions to ensure that pupils are fully engaged and benefiting from their educational experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide behavioural support to pupils in KS1 and KS2.
- Manage and monitor the behaviour of the pupils within the group.
- Conduct small group sessions and 1:1 sessions.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to develop and implement support plans.
- Monitor and report on pupil progress.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a coach, mentor, or learning support assistant.
- Experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is highly beneficial.
- Must have a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
- Experience working with either KS1 or KS2.
- Must have a UK address and the right to work in the UK.
