IC Talent is currently working with a supportive and well-resourced SEND school in the Wisbech area who are seeking a dedicated and creative Design & Technology (DT) Teacher to join their team.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), delivering engaging, practical lessons in a nurturing and structured environment.

The Role:

• Plan and deliver engaging DT lessons tailored to students with SEND
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet a range of additional needs
• Create a safe and inclusive workshop/classroom environment
• Support students in developing practical skills, confidence, and independence
• Work closely with support staff and SENCO to implement EHCP targets

The Ideal Candidate:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience working within a SEND setting (highly desirable)
• Confident differentiating lessons to meet individual needs
• Strong behaviour management and a calm, patient approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one)
• Passionate about supporting students to achieve their potential
