We are seeking a confident, experienced, and values-driven Registered Manager to take on a unique and rewarding opportunity overseeing two small, well-supported children's homes in Manchester. This is a dual registration role—ideal for a manager who thrives on delivering exceptional care across services while upholding the highest standards of safeguarding and compliance.

💼 About the Role

As a dual Registered Manager, you will:

Hold Ofsted registration for both children's homes, ensuring high-quality, safe, and nurturing environments.

*

Lead your teams with a strong vision and high expectations for care, education, and outcomes.

*

Manage day-to-day operations across both homes, maintaining full compliance with Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and Ofsted's Quality Standards.

*

Take the lead during Ofsted inspections, managing action plans, embedding improvements, and promoting a learning culture.

*

Drive recruitment, staff development, supervision, and retention of a high-performing team.

*

Maintain strong links with local authorities, social workers, families, and other key stakeholders.

✅ What We're Looking For

*

Minimum 2 years' experience as a Registered Manager in a children's residential setting (essential)

*

Proven experience leading or preparing for Ofsted inspections with strong knowledge of inspection frameworks

*

Hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare

*

In-depth knowledge of safeguarding, regulatory compliance, and trauma-informed practice

*

Exceptional leadership, communication, and decision-making skills

*

Passion for child-centred care and improving life chances
