Civils Groundworker (Water Treatment)

Salary: £31,000 - £35,500 per annum (OTE - £45,000+)
Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire
Hours: Full Time, Permanent | 08:00-17:00 with flexibility

A national environmental and drainage services business is seeking an experienced Civils Groundworker to support excavation, drainage and reinstatement works across the UK. This is a hands‑on role for a reliable, safety‑focused operative who takes pride in delivering quality work and representing the business professionally on site.

Key Responsibilities

Excavation works including temporary works support
Drainage, manhole, tank installations and duct laying
Backfilling, spoil management and cold‑lay reinstatement (Section 72)
Maintenance excavations, minor foundation works and blockage clearance
Accurate job updates using a PDA / CRM system
Site reports with supporting photographs
Compliance with all health, safety and company standards
Maintenance of tools, equipment and vehicle
Professional communication with customers and colleagues

Essential Skills & Experience

Full UK Driving Licence
Experience in civils, groundworks or drainage
Strong H&S awareness and attention to detail

Flexible approach to travel and overnight stays
