Are you a commercially minded Management Accountant looking for a part time, varied, hands-on role within a fast-growing and dynamic business group? This is a fantastic opportunity to join an ambitious organisation based in Tunbridge Wells on a part time basis.

The Opportunity

You’ll join a collaborative and supportive finance team, working closely with senior leadership and playing a key role in delivering accurate, insightful financial reporting across multiple entities. This position offers genuine variety, autonomy, and the chance to shape financial processes within a growing, multi-business environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

You will take ownership of the management accounting function, ensuring high-quality financial reporting and strong financial controls across the group. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Producing monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and KPI reporting

  • Ensuring robust balance sheet reconciliations and month-end processes

  • Supporting budgeting and forecasting across multiple business streams

  • Managing and forecasting cashflow to support strategic decision-making

  • Overseeing VAT submissions, including sector-specific requirements

  • Supervising purchase and sales ledger processes, ensuring compliance and accuracy

  • Leading, mentoring, and developing a Finance Officer

  • Providing insightful financial analysis and supporting senior leadership with ad-hoc projects

  • Identifying opportunities to enhance reporting, streamline processes, and strengthen financial controls

Essential:

  • ACCA or CIMA part-qualified or fully qualified

  • Strong experience in management accounting

  • Experience working across multiple entities or business units

  • Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

  • A hands-on, team-oriented approach

Desirable:

  • Experience processing CIS payments 

  • Experience mentoring or supervising junior finance staff

  • Exposure to multi-entity accounting environments
