Our client, a market leader within its sector, is seeking a dynamic, commercially minded Project Development Manager to lead our early engagement coordination team.

Reporting to senior leadership, you'll drive growth by managing a team comprising a Business Development Team Leader and five Project Coordinators, ensuring project opportunities are identified early and pursued strategically.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and develop a high-performing project coordination team.

* Manage incoming leads from platforms such as Barbour ABI and NBS to build a robust project pipeline.

* Drive early engagement with Architects, Main Contractors, and Specifiers, creating value through strategic questioning and consistent communication.

* Oversee the loading and updating of project opportunities and stakeholder data into Salesforce CRM.

* Align closely with our Commercial and Technical teams, providing real-time insights to support quotations and secure orders.

* Monitor and report on lead conversion, sales forecasts, and market trends.

* Champion process improvements, data accuracy, and team accountability through effective reporting and CRM housekeeping.

* Deliver monthly performance reviews, market intelligence reports, and strategic partnership tracking.

What You'll Bring:

Qualifications & Experience:

* Project Management certification or relevant training

* Strong educational background with excellent literacy and numeracy

* Experience within the construction industry (essential)

* Experience within Passive Fire protection systems and regulations (essential)

* Salesforce or CRM training (desirable)

Skills & Attributes:

* Proven leadership in a commercial or technical project environment

* Strategic and analytical mindset with a hands-on approach

* Excellent communication and influencing skills

* Strong understanding of construction lifecycles, specifications, and contracting processes

* Ability to manage cross-functional collaboration and drive process improvements
