Polytec are looking for a Stores Operative to be responsible for the receipt, storage, inventory control and dispatch of components and finished goods within a busy operational environment. The role ensures accurate stock management, efficient order fulfilment and adherence to internal processes and quality standards while supporting internal teams and customer deliveries. You should have strong systems experience preferably in SAP (or any warehouse system), picking and packing experience and the ability to multitask.

Responsibilities:

- Manage the receipt, inspection, storage and accurate recording of incoming goods
- Pick, kit and issue components for production orders and internal requests while maintaining organised and safe storage areas
- Prepare and dispatch customer and internal shipments, including packing, labelling, documentation and arranging courier collections
- Process returned goods, demo equipment and other incoming materials while ensuring records are correctly updated
- Maintaining a high level of stock accuracy on the MRP system

Requirements

- Previous experience working in a manufacturing stores or logistics environment
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and inventory levels
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams
- A proactive, reliable team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Familiarity with inventory, warehouse management, WMS / MRP / ERP systems (SAP knowledge preferred)
- Understanding of logistics processes, courier coordination and warehouse safety practices
- Ability to multitask
