Role and responsibilities:
Accounts Payable
- Assist the Accounts Payable function for the Group, to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and credit notes, in accordance with the Group's financial regulations and accepted accounting practices
- Assist with the Purchase Request function, to monitor their timely approval and submission of Purchase Orders to suppliers
- Assist with the administration of requests for new accounts, advising potential suppliers of our terms, setting up bank account records and exercising necessary checks when advised of bank account changes
- Assist with the Reconciliation of supplier accounts, to ensure payments are up to date, research and resolve differences and queries promptly
Other tasks
- Assist with Accounts receivable function as required including credit control
- Assist with processing transactions for the Group bank accounts
- Manage Petty Cash floats and perform monthly reconciliations
To assist the Student Financial Services Team with:
- Assist the Student finance team with peak times of enrolment with Bursary requests
- Assist the Student finance team with trip administration

- Ensure that the college develops and maintains a constructive relationship with appropriate external stakeholders relevant to the postholder's areas of responsibility
Health and Safety
- Ensure that the Health and Safety policy and procedures operated by the college are adhered to and that all statutory requirements are met by all staff with postholder's areas of responsibility
