OverviewMy client is a well-established Building Services Consultancy with a strong focus on sustainable design and energy efficiency that are seeking an experienced Intermediate Level IES Modeller to join their team in the South East/Kent region. This consultancy delivers a diverse range of M&E and building performance projects across the UK, collaborating closely with architects and clients to optimise building performance, energy use, and occupant comfort.

Day-to-Day- Running thermal and energy models to assess building performance.
- Preparing reports and documentation for Part L compliance and energy strategies.
- Attending project meetings with architects, engineers, and clients to provide insights on energy efficiency and sustainability.
- Reviewing project designs and providing recommendations to improve energy performance.
- Staying updated on industry standards and regulations related to building performance and sustainability.
Responsibilities- Conducting dynamic thermal modelling using IES VE software.
- Supporting Part L compliance, overheating analysis, and energy strategy development.
- Collaborating with design teams to influence and optimise building performance.
- Providing technical input on sustainability and low-carbon design principles.
- Working on a variety of projects across multiple sectors, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Qualifications- Proven experience using IES VE for building performance modelling.
- Strong understanding of Part L, SBEM, and thermal modelling principles.
- A passion for sustainability and low-carbon design.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
