Responsibilities:

* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Religious Studies lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, and potentially Key Stage 5 (A-level), fostering critical thinking and respectful dialogue.

* Encourage students to explore diverse religious and non-religious worldviews, their impact on society, and contemporary ethical issues.

* Prepare students effectively for GCSE and potentially A-level Religious Studies examinations, with a strong emphasis on analytical and evaluative skills.

* Assess and monitor student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback to support their understanding and attainment.

Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, or demonstrable experience in a similar independent school setting, with a specialism in Religious Studies or Philosophy.

* Proven experience teaching Religious Studies lessons effectively across the relevant age ranges, with a track record of strong student outcomes.

* A deep and current understanding of the Religious Studies curriculum and a commitment to innovative teaching methods.

* Strong communication skills, effective classroom management, and a genuine ability to inspire thoughtful reflection.
