Job Description:

Cover People are currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated trainee primary teachers who are set to graduate in Summer 2025. We are working on behalf of a number of primary schools across South Manchester, Stockport, and Salford to fill Short and Long-term teaching placements starting in September 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity for newly qualified teachers looking to gain valuable classroom experience and begin their teaching careers in supportive school environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and effective lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2

Plan and assess in line with the National Curriculum

Create a safe and stimulating classroom environment

Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

Support pupil development both academically and emotionally

Requirements:

PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification (completing in Summer 2025)

Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum

A passion for teaching and inspiring young learners

Excellent communication and classroom management skills

Willingness to commit to a full-time, long-term role from September
