The Senior Financial Analyst will play a pivotal role in the finance function and contribute to budgets and forecasting, monthly reporting, ad-hoc projects and supporting the senior leadership team.

• Forecasting and working on the budget process and model
• Liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure budgets remain on track. Providing continued analysis and feedback on performance vs budget
• Responsible for posting payroll journals and providing analysis.
• Preparing monthly management accounts and reporting in a timely and efficient manner
• Assist with preparing the monthly management report
• Providing relevant information for the year-end audit
• Ad hoc projects, requests and responsibilities

Person Specifications

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or similar)
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Previous experience in a commercial finance role with forecasting and budgeting experience
• Strong technical accounting skills
• High level of attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Familiarity with Xero and SAP accounting systems are an advantage
