Position: Mechanical / Electrical Fitter

Salary: £25,000 per year

About the Role

We are recruiting a Mechanical / Electrical Fitter on behalf of our client, a specialist machinery manufacturer based in Banbury. This role involves the assembly, wiring, and testing of machinery and systems to high quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics
Assemble mechanical components and perform electrical wiring
Carry out control box and full system wiring
Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical faults
Complete final testing and checks of finished products
Work in line with ISO processes and Health & Safety requirements
What We're Looking For

Strong mechanical assembly skills with electrical wiring experience (ideally electrically biased)
Ability to read electrical diagrams and engineering drawings
Understanding of pneumatic assemblies
Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills
