Our client is seeking a Government Business Development Manager / Technical Salesperson with experience in getting manufactured products specified at the different levels of government. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical sales background and a proven ability to navigate complex public sector procurement processes.
Identify and develop new business opportunities within local, provincial, and national government departments.
Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, consultants, and procurement officials.
Present technical product solutions and provide expert advice to support specification and sales processes.
Drive product specification through tenders, RFPs, and direct engagement with government entities.
Collaborate with internal teams including engineering, production, and logistics to meet client needs.
Track and manage the sales pipeline and prepare regular forecasts and reports.
Stay up to date with government regulations, tender platforms, and industry trends.
