You will be part of a well-established finance team that supports the firm across multiple global offices.Your new roleAs a Legal Cashier, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and compliant processing of financial transactions. Your responsibilities will include:

• Processing client and office account payments, receipts, and transfers
• Ensuring full compliance with SRA Accounts Rules
• Managing bank reconciliations on a daily and monthly basis
• Handling bills, disbursements, write-offs, and allocations
• Monitoring client account balances and addressing residual balances
• Supporting fee earners and internal stakeholders with finance queries
• Assisting with month-end processes and audits
• Maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail at all times

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience working as a Legal Cashier within a law firm
• Strong working knowledge of SRA Accounts Rules
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders at all levels
• Experience using legal finance systems (e.g., Aderant, Elite 3E, or similar)
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• A proactive, professional, and solutions-focused approach
