A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Site Engineer to join one of Fawkes & Reece's established clients on a long-term civils project in Cardiff. This Site Engineer role offers a strong day rate, weekly pay, and the chance to work on a key infrastructure scheme with a reputable contractor.

About the role of Site Engineer
As a Site Engineer, you will be supporting the delivery of a civils project, taking responsibility for setting out, quality assurance, and coordination of subcontractors on site. The project is expected to run for approximately 6-8 months and involves typical civils works within a structured project team environment.

Responsibilities for Site Engineer
• Carrying out accurate setting out using GPS, Total Station, and levelling equipment
• Supervising subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered to programme
• Interpreting and working from technical drawings and specifications
• Maintaining quality control and keeping accurate site records

Requirements for Site Engineer
• 3+ years' experience working as a Site Engineer on civils projects
• Strong setting out experience with relevant surveying equipment
• CSCS card and relevant engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree)
• Good understanding of health & safety and site procedures
