Job Duties:
- Develop and implement curriculum for Business Studies programme
- Provide leadership and guidance to the Business Studies department
- Manage and support a team of educators
- Monitor student progress and academic performance
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall educational experience
- Participate in school events and activities
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
- Teaching qualification or certification
- Proven experience in teaching Business Studies
- Strong leadership and communication skills
Experience:
Previous experience in teaching Business Studies
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of Business Studies curriculum
- Leadership and management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Business or Education
- Experience in curriculum development
- Experience working in an international school setting
Working Conditions:
This role requires working full-time hours in an educational setting in the Caribbean, specifically in the Cayman Islands. The Head of Business Studies will be expected to participate in school events and activities, collaborate with other departments, and provide leadership to the Business Studies department.
