We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join a leading civil engineering contractor on a major highways project based in Coventry. This is a 6-month contract with a strong likelihood of extension, offering competitive daily rates of £350 - £400, depending on experience.

Role Responsibilities:

Oversee daily engineering activities across the highways project

*

Ensure works are delivered in line with design specifications and programme

*

Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors and the client

*

Conduct inspections, surveys and maintain accurate site records

*

Assist in resolving any technical issues on site

Key Requirements:

*

Proven experience as a Senior Engineer on highways or major infrastructure projects

*

Strong understanding of highways construction, drainage, and earthworks

*

Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering

*

CSCS card (required), SMSTS or SSSTS (preferred)

*

Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
