History Teacher - Long-Term Role (January 2026 Start)

I C Talent Recruitment are working with a fantastic secondary school in the PE6 area of Peterborough, who are seeking a dedicated and passionate History Teacher to join their team from January 2026.

This is a long-term position and will involve full teaching responsibilities, including planning, preparation, and marking.

The Role:

Teaching History across KS3 and KS4

*

Planning and delivering engaging lessons

*

Marking, assessing, and tracking pupil progress

*

Creating a positive and inspiring learning environment

*

Working collaboratively with department staff

What We're Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

*

Strong subject knowledge in History

*

Experience teaching KS3-KS4

*

Commitment to high standards of teaching and learning

*

Ability to engage, motivate and inspire students
