We have a permanent Mobile Domestic Assistant/Cleaner position available to join our team covering the wider Hampshire and Basingstoke area. While the role will primarily involve working across Alton Health Centre (GU34 2QX), Bramblys Grange (RG21 8UN), Chase Hospital (GU35 0YZ), Kingsclere Medical Centre (RG20 5QX), Park Prewitt (RG24 9RG) and sites in Aldershot, the postholder may also be required to support other properties within the wider portfolio as operationally needed.

- £12.51 per hour, £24,465.00 per annum, pro-rata

- 37.5 hours per week

- Monday to Friday 7.5 hours per day between 05:30am - 20:30pm to meet the needs of the business

- Clean manual driving license required

- Standard DBS is required

Key Responsibilities

This role will involve maintaining cleanliness to NHS National Cleaning Standards, completing legionella flushing and accurately recording all activity, managing and disposing of waste safely, and using and maintaining cleaning equipment such as mops, vacuums, floor machines and steam cleaners. The postholder will also ensure all equipment is compliant with COSHH requirements, report any faults through NHSPS systems, and replenish cleaning consumables as needed.

  • Cleaning experience preferred but not essential
  • Reliability and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and follow schedules
  • Awareness of infection control/health & safety (or willingness to learn)
  • Positive attitude and commitment to excellent patient care
