A well-established civil and structural engineering consultancy in Maidstone is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join their growing civils team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a wide variety of infrastructure projects including residential, education, industrial, and commercial developments.

Key Responsibilities

Contribute to the civil engineering aspects of diverse infrastructure projects.
Design highways, site levels, foul and surface water drainage systems, SuDS, and flood risk mitigation.
Prepare detailed drainage and road construction designs.
Model drainage networks using Causeway Flow (training can be provided if experienced in MicroDrainage).
Prepare S38/S278 highway design packages.
Undertake site visits, walkovers, and technical assessments.
Liaise with local authorities, drainage boards, and utility providers.
Interpret geotechnical reports for use in design.
Use AutoCAD, PDS/Civil3D for infrastructure design.
Complete Flood Risk Assessments and ensure CDM 2015 compliance.
Requirements

HNC/HND or degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
2-3+ years' experience in civil infrastructure design with a consultancy (UK experience preferred).
Strong technical skills with proficiency in AutoCAD and either Causeway Flow, PDS, or Civil3D.
Experience with S38, S278, and the technical approval process.
Knowledge of UK design standards and industry best practices.
Client-facing experience and the ability to manage project components independently.
