We are working in partnership with a leading global procurement services provider to identify a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join their expanding team at their Crawley head office.

This organisation supports infrastructure projects both in the UK and internationally, supplying a wide range of specialist equipment and materials. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a confident procurement professional who can develop supplier relationships, manage complex orders, and deliver high-value outcomes.

The Role

You will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring technical materials and equipment across various categories. With an emphasis on supplier management and value-driven sourcing, you will liaise with both UK and global clients and suppliers to ensure successful and compliant procurement delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Source and procure materials, services, and equipment across the infrastructure sector
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Negotiate pricing and contractual terms to ensure best value
Prepare and manage supplier bids, quotations, and evaluations
Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure client requirements are clearly understood and met
Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and supplier communications
Ensure timely processing of sales orders and seamless handovers to the expediting team
Contribute to continuous improvement within the procurement functionAbout You:

Strong procurement experience within infrastructure, construction, or engineering sectors
Solid network of UK-based suppliers and manufacturers
Commercially savvy with strong negotiation and supplier evaluation skills
Technically competent with mechanical or electro-mechanical product knowledge
Organised, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively under pressure
Familiar with international logistics, Incoterms, and trade compliance
Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel); CRM or ERP experience desirable
French language skills are a bonus, but not essential
Must have the right to live and work in the UKTo Apply
