We are seeking a skilled and passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a specialist setting that supports learners aged 11–19 with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD).

About the Role
As an HLTA, you will:
- Lead small group interventions and deliver planned lessons under teacher guidance.
- Support pupils across semi-formal, formal, and SCERTS pathways (Social Communication, Emotional Regulation, Transactional Support), tailored for learners with autism.
- Promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and social interaction.
- Assist in developing personalised learning plans aligned with EHCP outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and pastoral teams to ensure holistic support.
What We’re Looking For
- HLTA status or equivalent qualification.
- Experience supporting pupils with SEN, particularly ASD, communication challenges, and complex needs.
- Strong understanding of inclusive education strategies and differentiated learning.
- Ability to lead learning activities confidently and adapt to individual needs.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
