About the Role

As an HLTA, you will:

• Lead small group interventions and deliver planned lessons under teacher guidance.
• Support pupils across semi-formal, formal, and SCERTS pathways (Social Communication, Emotional Regulation, Transactional Support), tailored for learners with autism.
• Promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and social interaction.
• Assist in developing personalised learning plans aligned with EHCP outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and pastoral teams to ensure holistic support.

What We’re Looking For

• HLTA status or equivalent qualification.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEN, particularly ASD, communication challenges, and complex needs.
• Strong understanding of inclusive education strategies and differentiated learning.
• Ability to lead learning activities confidently and adapt to individual needs.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
