Basic Salary - £50k - £60k + a package including car allowance and bonus approx to £15k per annum

Role Overview

As a Senior Technical Designer, you will be the bridge between creative vision & practical execution, translating design intent into detailed, build-ready technical documentation. You will work closely with designers, project managers, engineers, and fabricators to ensure every element of a project is accurately detailed, coordinated, and achievable — without compromising on quality or aesthetics.

Key Responsibilities

* Interpret concept designs into fully developed technical drawings and specifications for fabrication and installation.

* Lead technical design packages for complex fit-out projects, ensuring accuracy, compliance & constructability.

* Coordinate closely with Architects, Interior Designers, subcontractors & suppliers to resolve technical challenges.

* Specify materials, finishes & construction methods inline with project requirements & brand standards.

* Stay current with new materials, fabrication techniques, and industry regulations.

Qualifications & Skills

* Degree or diploma in Technical Design, Interior Architecture, Industrial Design, or related field.

* 7+ years' experience in technical design for fit-out, joinery, or interior construction projects.

* Expert proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) & familiarity with 3D modelling tools.

* Strong knowledge of materials, joinery, fabrication, and installation techniques.

* Proven ability to produce precise, build-ready technical packages.

* Excellent communication and coordination skills, with experience working in multidisciplinary teams.

* Detail-oriented, highly organized, and adept at problem-solving under tight deadlines.
