On offer is the chance to become a vital asset to the business, leading the production of the 24/7 operational papermill. You will be ensuring smooth operation of the production process and overseeing multiple teams to achieve targets. The ideal candidate will strive for continuous improvement and high quality production consistently.

This role would suit an experienced production manager in the manufacturing sector, looking to become a vital member of the management team and lead the high quality production output form their state of the art facility in Stockport.

The role:

• Oversee all aspects of daily production, ensuring safety, quality, and performance targets are met
• Manage and motivate a team who work across a 4-shift, day / night rotation, ensuring clear communication and performance standards
• Carry out HR responsibilities including staffing, training, performance management, and employee development
• Collaborate with other departments including Maintenance, Quality, and Logistics to ensure seamless operations
• Lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
• Contribute to long-term strategic planning and business development

The Person:

• Experience in a production manager role in the manufacturing sector
• Experience leading multiple teams in a 24 hour production process
• Full UK driving licence
