Location: Bridgwater, Somerset

Salary: Up to £24k per year + Excellent Benefits  

Job Type: Full Time (5 days a week)

Key Requirements: STEM Degree Graduate, Member of AFOH, CertOH, industrial and/or construction environment experience

The Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a STEM degree graduate Occupational Hygiene Technician to work alongside their occupational health team. You will be a self-motivated and have a proactive approach to your role, prioritising and managing your own workload. 

Requirements:

Ideally, has some experience of industrial and/or construction environments.
Ideally, possess affiliate membership of the Faculty of Occupational Hygiene (AFOH).
Working towards the certification of Operational Competence in Occupational Hygiene (CertOH).

Duties:

Conduct Occupational Hygiene monitoring and surveys of personnel and site activities for various chemical, physical, and biological agents.
Carry out routine workplace inspections to evaluate occupational hygiene related aspects.
Aid in the preparation and delivery of training and informational materials on occupational hygiene related subjects.
Take part in specific occupational hygiene related investigations and studies.
Contribute to the occupational hygiene performance reports.

Shift (mixture of day and night shifts):

Monday - Thursday, 3pm till midnight
Friday, 11am till 3pm
