Warehouse Operative - Early Shift (Temporary Assignment)

Location: Welwyn Garden City

Pay Rate: £13.06 per hour

Contract Dates: 5th January - 6th February 2026 (with potential for extension)

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 07:00-15:00

Weekend work may be required occasionally.

About the Role

We are seeking Warehouse Operatives to join a traditional warehouse team for a short-term assignment. This role involves manual handling and walking throughout the warehouse, so physical fitness is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Picking and packing stationery items for client orders
• Replenishing shelves and managing goods-in
• Using a daily pick sheet and trolley to locate items in the aisles
• Transporting filled trolleys to the packing station for distribution

Requirements:

• Physically fit and able to lift and move items safely
• Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

Training:

Full training will be provided.

Getting There:

The warehouse is a short walk from Welwyn Garden City train station and is accessible via local bus routes. If the shared car park is full, there is ample street parking available within a 5-minute walk.
