Payroll Assistant

18 hours Per Week

£15 PH Full time equivalent of £36k

Monthly Payroll of 2200 employees

System they use is PBS

Days in the office are optional normally Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday

Working knowledge of UK tax and NI calculations, statutory payments, pension, and year end reporting

- Ability to understand and explain technical payroll and pension queries.

- Ability to manually calculate pro-rata payments such as holiday pay, hourly/daily rates of pay etc.

- Understanding payroll and HR systems processes

- Works discreetly to resolve matters sensitively, with concerns escalated appropriately.

- Ability and confidence to build relationships across all levels of the business.
