Electrician (Gold Card) - 6-Month Residential Project - Cardiff

TLG are currently recruiting 2 gold card electricians for a new build residential project on an intial 6 month contract

Role Overview

You will be responsible for full electrical installations on a residential project, including works from power supply to premises. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical capability and the ability to work efficiently within a structured project programme.

Key Responsibilities

Full installation works from incoming power supply through to final connections within premises

First and second fix electrical installations

Installation of consumer units, distribution boards and containment

Testing, inspection and commissioning

Reading and interpreting drawings and technical specifications

Ensuring all work complies with BS 7671 (18th Edition)

Maintaining high health & safety standards on site

Requirements (Essential)

✔ Valid JIB Gold Card
✔ NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
✔ 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
✔ Proven experience installing from power supply to premises
✔ Residential project experience
✔ Own tools and PPE
✔ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
