Job Title: Family Solicitor (Private Family) - Maternity Cover

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Family Solicitor to join our team on a 9-month maternity cover. This is a part-time, largely remote role suited to a confident practitioner who can manage a private family caseload with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of private family matters independently
Advise on divorce, financial remedies, and private children matters
Handle pre- and post-nuptial agreements
Liaise with and brief counsel where required
Conduct occasional client meetings (in person as needed)

Requirements:
Qualified Solicitor with 7+ years' PQE in private family law
Proven ability to work autonomously without supervision
Strong experience in divorce and financial matters
Advocacy experience desirable but not essential

Logistics:
9-month maternity cover
Start date: Early to late May
Part-time: 1-2 days per week
Primarily remote, with occasional client visits required
