The Opportunity:

A vibrant and welcoming primary school in Kent is looking for a dedicated and passionate Year 3 Teacher to join their team in September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is eager to inspire and motivate students as they continue their educational journey in Key Stage 2. Key Responsibilities:

Plan, teach, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Year 3 National Curriculum, focusing on the academic, social, and emotional development of pupils.

Use various assessment methods to track pupil progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to pupils and parents.

Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages independent thinking, collaboration, and a love for learning.

*

Work closely with other teachers, support staff, and school leaders to ensure high standards across the curriculum and consistency in teaching practices.

Communicate effectively with parents and carers, keeping them informed about their child's progress and well-being.

*

Participate in the wider life of the school, including school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities.

Person Specification:

*

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

Strong knowledge of the Year 3 curriculum, with experience in teaching students at Key Stage 2.

*

Ability to assess and track pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs.

*

Excellent classroom management skills, with the ability to create a focused, positive, and inclusive learning environment.

*

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.

*

A commitment to professional development, self-reflection, and contributing positively to the school's ethos.
