PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) is a comprehensive, fully integrated, provider-based health system for the frailest and costliest members of our society - those who require a nursing home level of care. The PACE philosophy is centered on the belief that it is better for frail individuals and their families to be served in the community whenever possible. Although all PACE participants are eligible for nursing home care, 90 percent continue to live in the community. Upon enrollment in PACE, participants and their caregivers meet with an interdisciplinary team (IDT) that includes doctors, nurses, therapists, social workers, dietitians, personal care aides, transportation drivers and others. Their needs are assessed, and an individualized care plan is developed to respond to all participant needs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year PACE is both a health provider and a health plan, combining the intensity and personal touch of a provider with the coordination and efficiency of a health plan. IDT members deliver much of the care directly, enabling them to monitor participants’ health personally and respond rapidly to any necessary changes.

As the Director of PACE, Regional Clinical Operations, you will not only be directly responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of our main PACE Medical Clinic in Miami but will also supervise the clinical care and services provided at our Hialeah, Westchester, and Miramar sites.  You will oversee RN’s, LPNs, Medical Assistants and more. You will have responsibility for the care provided at these clinics as well as the scheduling and coordination of home care services provided by outside agencies.  You will work with a dynamic team that includes a Chief Medical Director, Social Workers, Dietitians, and Therapists. This highly qualified individual will direct the flow of care in a fast-paced clinic, troubleshoot problems, provide clinical direction and oversight, ensure appropriate supervision of staff and much more.  They will have the privilege of working with a top-notch team of professionals and excellent medical staff and will take their place as a highly respected member of the clinical management team.  They will develop, teach, mentor and work with the team to create a truly extraordinary care experience for our participants and rewarding and enriching experience for our staff.   The ideal candidate will be a Registered Nurse who enjoys and values functioning in a highly independent role, 5-10 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse, at least 5 tenured years in a management role supervising care in a sizeable multi-provider clinic or related healthcare setting. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (Masters strongly Preferred).
