Fabric Technician

Location - Onsite at Rolls-Royce Bristol BS16

Hours - 40 Monday to Friday

What this job involves: As a Fabric Engineer at JLL, you'll play a crucial role in shaping a brighter way on our clients Rolls-Royce site. You'll be responsible for maintaining and improving the structural integrity and appearance of buildings, ensuring they meet UK safety standards and remain in optimal condition. What your day-to-day will look like:

• Conduct regular inspections of building exteriors and interiors to identify maintenance needs in line with UK regulations

• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for building fabric elements

• Manage repair and renovation projects, ensuring compliance with UK building codes and regulations

• Collaborate with other departments to address client concerns and improve property performance

• Prepare detailed reports on building conditions and recommend appropriate actions, adhering to UK industry standards

• Oversee contractors and vendors involved in building fabric maintenance and repairs

• Stay updated on the latest building technologies and sustainable practices in the UK construction industry

Required Qualifications:

• Experience in building maintenance or facilities management in the UK

• Strong knowledge of UK building materials, construction methods, and safety regulations

• Excellent problem-solving and project management skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and UK-specific building management software

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
