The Exciting Opportunity
The Maintenance Manager contributes to RBH'ss goals and values by supporting the Operations Manager with managing a team of 3 Maintenance team members within the operation of the Hampton by Hilton - London Gatwick Airport.
You will be responsible for the maintenance of all areas of the hotel, interiors and exterior which may include building, mechanical systems and controls, energy management, interior finsihing, product applications, budgeting and preventative maintenance programmes.
You will develop a knowledge of the hotel structure, fixtures, fittings and plant, produce, monitor and maintain a Preventative Maintenance Programme, for bedrooms, public areas, monitor company inspections results and remedy faults; inspect all plant and equipment on a daily basis. Assist in the compilation of Capex and R&M projects, on occasions be involved with design, development and construction of those related projects.
You will be required to act as Duty Manager on a rota basis. The successful applicant for this role will be able to demonstrate great leadership skills, have a positive "can do" attitude and be a proactive planner with good commuication skills. You must deliver excellent customer service and work closely with the General Manager in maintaining this property to the highest level.

With 194 guest bedrooms, Restaurant and Bar, the hotel also has a gym facility and Meeting Room for 16 people.
