TeacherActive is proud to be working in partnership with an SEMH supporting School in Bingham, a nurturing and inclusive setting supporting children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

This unique school environment is dedicated to creating a therapeutic and individualised learning experience for pupils aged 7-18 who may struggle in mainstream education. We are now looking for a passionate and resilient SEMH Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join the team and make a genuine impact on pupils' lives.

The Role:

Supporting students with SEMH needs on a 1:1 and small group basis

Helping to create a calm, consistent, and safe learning environment

Implementing strategies to promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation

Working closely with teaching staff, SENCOs, and therapists

Supporting academic and personal development in line with EHCP targets

Temp to perm for the right candidates 

✅ The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Experience supporting children or young people with SEMH or behavioural challenges

A calm, confident, and empathetic approach

Excellent communication and team-working skills

A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection

Relevant experience in a school, PRU, or alternative provision setting (desirable but not essential)
