Head of Finance - Swindon - Part-Time - 4 Days per Week

£85,000 - £95,000 (FTE equivalent) - Generous bonus and benefits package

Flexible Hybrid - Swindon & Home-Based. Occasional travel to London office.

Are you a commercially focussed, hands-on finance leader with high integrity and looking for a senior position with flexibility?

This B2B services SME is recruiting an experienced Head of Finance to lead all accounting and financial management activities across the company. Operating at Board level, it's a key leadership role to deliver a dependable finance function and help drive business performance.

The Role

You will take end to end responsibility for financial control, reporting, compliance and team leadership, ensuring robust processes and accurate, timely financial information to support decision-making.

Key responsibilities include:

* Preparation of monthly management accounts, board and group reporting packs

* Balance sheet reconciliations and accurate general ledger management

* Implementing/strengthening controls and improving reporting processes

* Budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management

* KPI reporting and financial performance analysis

* Managing credit control, purchase ledger and payroll oversight

* Preparing for annual audit, VAT returns and corporation tax

* Managing company benefit schemes and insurance relationships

* Leading and developing the finance team

* Providing financial insight to support strategic projects

About You

* ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with 10+ years' experience in industry

* Blend of strong technical accounting and business partnering skills

* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

* A proactive, collaborative, solution-oriented mindset
