Our client, a well-established and respected name in the food and drink industry, is seeking a Hygiene Manager to join their dedicated team.

Reporting directly to the Technical Manager, this is a pivotal role where you will take full ownership of the hygiene function on site. This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive business that champions quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:
-Lead and manage the entire Hygiene department, overseeing a dedicated hygiene team.
-Work closely with the Technical team to ensure site-wide hygiene excellence.
-Conduct all hygiene audits across the site, ensuring audit readiness at all times.
-Maintain compliance with BRC and major retailer standards.
-Ensure all hygiene tasks are backed by effective operating procedures.
-Oversee ordering and inventory management of hygiene PPE and chemical supplies.
-Manage day-to-day hygiene operations across the facility.
-Support the Technical Manager during external audits and visits.

Requirements:
-Proven experience in a similar Hygiene Management role within the food and drink manufacturing sector.
-Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate a team.
-Thorough knowledge and experience of BRC and retailer standards.
-A track record of conducting hygiene audits and driving continuous hygiene improvements.
-A collaborative, proactive, and quality-focused mindset.
