Learning Support Assistants

SANZA Teaching Agency are currently recruiting for a number of Learning Support Assistants to work across our wonderful primary schools in Waltham Forest.

We have a number of long-term, full-time roles coming through and are looking for experienced, reliable candidates who are interested in long-term roles to get in touch!

As a learning support assistant, you will:

Providing tailored 1:1 or small group support to pupils with Autism
Support the implementation of Educational Health care Plans
Support the implementation of behaviour strategies
Using alternative communication methods to develop language and interaction skills
Create a supportive, inclusive learning environment that encourages social interaction and confidence
Maintain clear communication with parents and carers, providing updates on pupil progress

About You:

Experience working with children with Autism or other special needs/complex needs
Understanding of non-verbal communication methods and supportive strategies
Confidence in managing challenging behaviour with a calm and adaptable approach
Excellent teamwork, communication, and relationship-building skills
Patience, empathy, and a strong passion for helping children with special needs thriveNext steps:
