SANZA Teaching Agency are currently recruiting on behalf of a wonderful 2- form entry primary school located in Newham. They are looking for an experienced teaching assistant to join their wonderful school community.

The details:

The role will be to work with various students from year 1 to year 6
All students have learning needs
Full-time
January 2026 to July 2026

The role:

Adapting tasks and learning materials to the needs of students
Using multisensory approaches when applicable
Provide consistent encouragement
Helping pupils develop social skills, confidence, independence, and resilience
Recognising triggers for distress and use de-escalation techniques when required
Promoting peer relationships and positive interaction
Encourage independence
Teach organisational skills, problem-solving, and self-advocacy.
