Set within the heart of Edinburgh, The Caledonian Edinburgh invites guests into beautifully re-imagined bedrooms inspired by Scotland’s landscapes and heritage. We are seeking a Guest Services Agent to help deliver a seamless, refined experience from first arrival to final farewell.

The Person:

• A polished and welcoming professional with a passion for luxury hospitality
• Naturally warm, confident and composed in all guest interactions
• Detail-orientated with strong communication and organisational skills
• Proactive, adaptable and calm under pressure
• Flexible to work across varied shifts, supporting hotel operations.

The Role:

• Deliver a seamless, refined guest journey from arrival to departure
• Act as the first and lasting impression of The Caledonian Edinburgh
• Provide attentive, personalised front-of-house service
• Uphold the hotel’s luxury standards and brand values at all times
• Support the wider Front of House team in exceeding guest expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage check-in and check-out with efficiency, discretion and warmth
• Respond promptly to guest enquiries, resolving requests professionally
• Maintain thorough knowledge of room categories, rates and promotions
• Maximise occupancy and revenue through confident upselling
• Follow all security, cash handling and health and safety procedures.
