We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee all warehouse activities, ensuring efficient processes and maximising productivity. The role involves supervising employees, coordinating logistical processes, ensuring the quality of goods, and preparing relevant documents. This position requires a dependable individual with excellent organisational and time management skills.
Day-to-day of the role: - Coordinate and oversee the receiving, storing, and dispatching of goods, including recording shipment transactions.
- Ensure maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Supervise warehouse operatives and ensure their performance meets company standards.
- Control and maintain inventory and stock levels.
- Sustain and report on the serviceability of company vehicles and material-handling equipment.
- Work effectively alongside other departments and report to the Operations Manager.
- Maintain an organised warehouse environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Previous experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or as an experienced Warehouse Operative.
- Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and management.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to delegate tasks.
- Proven leadership and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in English.
