Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer Role & Responsibilities:

* Installation, servicing, and maintenance of commercial air conditioning and refrigeration systems

* Diagnose and repair faults in air conditioning and refrigeration units

* Ensure all work complies with relevant regulations, guidelines, and company standards

* Perform routine maintenance and system checks to ensure optimal performance

* Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to complete projects efficiently

* Provide excellent customer service by liaising directly with clients and offering solutions to their HVAC needs

* Complete service reports and maintain accurate records of work carried out

* Assist with the commissioning of new systems and upgrades to existing systems

* Adhere to health and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment

* Keep up-to-date with the latest industry developments and technologies

* Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members when required

Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer Skills & Experience:

* Full UK Driving Licence or equivalent (essential)

* City & Guilds or equivalent in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (Level 2 3)

* F-Gas Certification

* Strong experience in installing, servicing, and maintaining commercial air conditioning and refrigeration systems

* In-depth knowledge of refrigeration

* Ability to diagnose and repair faults efficiently

* Excellent understanding of relevant health and safety regulations

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Good communication skills for client interaction and reporting

* Previous experience in a commercial setting is preferred

* Willingness to undergo further training and development to enhance skills
