What You'll Be Doing: - Delivering inspiring, engaging English lessons to students across KS3 and KS4.
- Teaching English Language and Literature, preparing pupils for GCSE success.
- Encouraging analytical thinking, effective writing, and a love of reading.
- Differentiating lesson content to meet the needs of all learners.
- Assessing progress, setting achievable targets, and providing constructive feedback.
- Contributing to curriculum development and literacy across the school.
- Supporting extracurricular events such as creative writing clubs and school productions.
What We're Looking For: - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) - ECTs very welcome to apply.
- A degree in English, English Literature, or a related subject.
- Strong subject knowledge and an ability to connect with students of all abilities.
- Passion for reading, writing, and helping students find their own voice.
- A proactive, professional, and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
