Our client is seeking a Senior Financial Planner Support to act as a senior lead, providing high-quality support to Financial Planners and Directors. This role is crucial in ensuring our clients receive consistent, top-tier service.

The ideal candidate will coach and develop team members and maintain excellence in client service delivery.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Prepare and compile accurate client review packs and check them where necessary.
  • Deliver proactive support to Financial Planners and Directors, including handling urgent and technical issues.
  • Manage client correspondence with clarity and accuracy, complete policy analysis, liaise with providers, and maintain full audit trails.
  • Conduct weekly review meetings with Financial Planners to discuss priorities and resolve issues.
  • Attend client meetings to support Financial Planners, presenting key financial calculations as required.
  • Conduct pre- and post-meeting reviews, ensuring meeting notes are issued and actions completed promptly.
  • Coach and develop junior team members, addressing any concerns with the Team Leader.
  • Work with platforms and providers to ensure accurate management of client holdings.
  • Generate and train team members on creating template suitability letters.
  • Lead projects aimed at improving office efficiency and streamlining processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Diploma qualified or equivalent experience in financial planning.
  • Active CPD and completion of mandatory compliance training.
  • Strong understanding of financial systems and processes.
  • Proven experience in financial services administration and supporting Financial Planners.
  • Excellent coaching skills and the ability to develop others.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organisational skills, and proactive work ethic.

Desirable Skills:

  • Management qualification or relevant training.
  • Experience in handling complex technical queries and challenging situations.
  • Proficiency in writing suitability letters and producing client schedules without checks.
  • Knowledge of pensions, investments, and provider systems.
