Remedy Education are looking to appoint an experienced Complex Needs Teaching Assistant to join a specialist secondary SEN school in Greenwich. The school supports pupils aged 11-19 with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD), complex medical needs, and additional sensory impairments.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support for students with complex needs and PMLD

Assist with personal care and physical support where required

Work closely with class teachers, therapists, and other support staff

Help manage challenging behaviour in a calm and professional manner

Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment

Requirements:

Previous experience supporting children or young adults with complex needs, PMLD, or severe learning difficulties

Comfortable with personal care and manual handling

Strong understanding of safeguarding and SEN best practices

Valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
