Are you compassionate, patient, and passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs? Teaching Personnel is recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants for a range of full-time and part-time positions within Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools across Maidstone and surrounding areas, starting this September.

These rewarding roles will involve working closely with students who may have a wide range of learning difficulties and complex needs, either 1:1 or in small groups, helping them to access the curriculum and develop socially, emotionally, and academically.

You may be supporting students with:

Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD)
Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH)
Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
Physical Disabilities or Sensory Impairments
Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
What we're looking for:

Experience supporting children or young people with additional needs is highly desirable
Individuals with previous experience in a classroom, care, or youth support setting
Graduates with a background in psychology, education, or related fields looking to gain experience in SEND
Calm, adaptable, and resilient personalities who thrive in supportive roles
